As in the previous post, here are some ideas that you may want to discuss with your doctors:
1. Colonoscopy or gastroscopy to rule out if there are lesions in the colon or stomach that can be obstructing the passage of food. These lesions may really not show up on CT scan
2. Going for a more accurate imaging study like an MRI, to better differentiate soft tissue characteristics.
3. Functional assessment of digestion such as stool examination for the amount of fat, protein, and carbohydrate ingested. This may tell us if there are problems with digestion that can produce much gas.
4. Looking into other possibilities such as connective tissue diseases (like lupus).
I suggest you discuss all these options with your doctors and I hope a diagnosis will be clinched.
