Consultation for metastatic breast cancer in U.S. (see previous question regarding medical Hx and medication)

Asked by ywlaw15@yahoo.com (Female; 42; Pt has metastatic recurrent breast cancer ) on Wed 21, May 2008 11:14pm

Dr. Paul S, Would you know any doctor in the U.S. that is willing to give a second opinion? Pt is receiving treatment in another country. I have all her medical record. I will pay for the appointment. Will any doctor be willing to the look at the medical record and offer a second opinion in the absence of the patient? Or will any doctor be willing to do a phone consultation with the patient? Thank you so much.

Hi. I am really sorry I won't be able to help you much with this problem. I am not from the US but I would suggest you refer to this website for a list of accredited cancer centers by the NCI. Regards and God bless. http://cancercenters.cancer.gov/cancer_centers/cancer-centers-names.html
