4mm dcis, cribriform, micropapillary type. No comedic cells. Removed by biopsy, large, clean lumpectomy sample. No rads
recommended. On tamoxifen. Six month mammos, yearly Mri. What is the lifetime risk of dcis or invasive in the good breast?
The docs said the risk of recurrance in the same spot of the DCIS is about 6% in ten years for someone with this pathology.
Roughly 3.5% chance dcis again, 2.5% invasive. Does that sound about right? They all called it a pre-cancer.It's been a year
and I can't put this behind me. I feel like it's just a matter of time that the other shoe will drop. Any suggestions or
comments? Thank you for this service.
