How long should a patient wait to have sugery if they have 2 tumors of 40% in the pancreas with a CEA of 4200 that are said to be not cancer yet? I'm very scared that any month they will turn and i'll be dead and gone. I was also told I have an 2.5 aneurysm on my right kidney that when/if they do the whipple procedure they can't fix my kidney aneurysm that I'll just have to live with it or die from it. Thanks so much for all your help. Michelle

Answer by bobby s, md  on Sat 15, May 2010 11:47pm:

Hello Michelle,
It is difficult to take a call on this without a complete physical examination and a detailed review of the imaging results. Please consult an experienced gastro-intestinal surgeon.
Remain positive. All the best, and God Bless!
