Hi, FIlgrastim is a granulocyte colony stimulating factor. In simple English, this means that filgrastim helps in the process of formation and maturation of white blood cells. Filgrastim is not known to increase the risk of cancer. It is great that you are donating stem cells. Please relax. There is no risk or danger to you as a result of this procedure; but for the recepient, stem cells may be a life-saving. All the best, and God Bless!
