You have not mentioned your medical and cancer history in detail.
When a superficial lymph node is required from the axilla for diagnostic purposes, it is often possible to do it without general anesthesia. But I do not think that a full oncological axillary clearance is possible without general anesthesia. Please discuss in detail with your entire medical team the value of a repeat surgery to look for nodes.
