My wife recently had a bone scan with a contrast agent performed on the same day as an MRI. Both were performed to further a
diagnosis of the pain she has been having for more than a year now. Her right (dominant) arm turns color, temperature, goes
numb, and extreme pain. She has gone through 4 doctors now, and her latest doctor thinks she may have a possible brachial
plexus injury, or RSD. After we received the report of the MRI, we were very disturbed. The report suggested we consult with
a hematologist for possible leukemia, lymphoma, or other related cancers. My question is...Is it possible to have a false
reading due to the contrast used in the bone scan?
