My husband's father recently had a very bad headache and then his vision was double. He went to the doctor and they thought he had a stroke. Two days later his daughter thought she noticed more stroke like symtoms and rushed him to the ER. He was admitted to the hospital over a week ago. They have come to the conclusion that he did not have a stroke. A spot was found on his lung, spots in his abdomen, a few tiny spots on his spine, brain stem and a shadow on his brain. A needle biopsy was done last week, along with a spinal tap. Results will be in Monday but they are fairly sure that it is cancer. Is cancer that is spread like this treatable?
