My father aged 53 had been diagnosed with obstructive jaundice and the C.T Scan then done revealed a stricture in the common
bile duct and the reason likely for the stricture was cholangiocarcinoma.Later E.R.C.P was done and a stent was successfully
put into place and the jaundice part subsided. We were advised by the consultant oncologist Dr. S.H Advani to put the patient
under observation and to report after a month with a freshly done C.T Scan. The recently done C.T scan revealed a hypodense
lesion in segment IV of the liver of area 16X11mms.On seeing the reports the doctor administered 3 doses of gemcitabine to be
given on day-1 day-8 and day-15.
I would be ever indebted if you kindly let me know whether cyberknife surgery is possible in this case, and if yes what are
the chances of success.
Thank you
