I believe that these microcalcifications are from a mammogram result and there is a way that we can determine if these new findings are indicative of a benign condition or something else. This is through the BIRADS classification which is a standardized reporting of the mammogram result. This will tell us if these changes or microcalcifications are most likely benign, or would warrant further investigation (you can learn more about birads here:

I believe that your pattern of calcifications are of benign in nature that's why your doctors would opt just to observe. But I would recommend that you continue to observe your breast, and you can also ask your radiologist about the BIRADS score of your mammogram.
