Hi there.
As far as the cancer community is concerned, this form of intervention is not yet widely studied and hence, not yet generally accepted.
The level of alkalinity of the body may influence the body's handling of some chemotherapy drugs and I'm not sure if it is a good idea to modify the levels. More so, conditions that can give rise to alkalosis (increased alkali or decreased acid in the blood) can have detrimental effects such as carpo-pedal spasms and electrolyte abnormalities.
For now, such form of therapy cannot be generally recommended.
Regards.
