Hi, I am a relatively healthy, non smoking 41 year old female and mother of four young girls. I had a chest xray a few days
ago for pain in my ribs due to coughing from Bronchitis for about 4 weeks now. The xrays revealed a 3mm noncalcified nodule
in the right lower lobe and a 2mm nodule in the left lower lobe with no evidence of infiltrate and costophrenic angles are
clear. My doctor suggested repeat xray in 3 months but I'm getting a referral for pulmonologist tomorrow. How concerned should
I be that this is cancer, especially with the nodules being noncalcified? Thank you so much!
